Wallabies are small or mid-sized macropod/animals found in Australia and New Guinea. They belong to the same taxonomic family as kangaroos. Even though most of the wallaby are small, some can really grow up to approximately 2 meters in length. Their powerful hind legs are not only used for bounding at high speeds and jumping great heights but also to administer vigorous kicks to fend off potential predators.

Luckily, we managed to find a couple to give us company here. We have a male that is grown as a home pet named Marios. He was raised with a family based in Holland. Marios is very approachable and friendly. On the other hand, Marietta the female one, is the complete opposite of Marios. She’s a bit defensive and not very approachable but she’s sweet and kind.
Although you still can’t tough them but you can see them up close…
